BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF OUR VIBRATION ANALYST / BALANCING ENGINEER

“Vibration Analysis and Full Speed Dynamic Balancing of Power Turbines or Generators is very specialized job and requires extensive practical experience”

Our Vibration and Balancing Engineer has been serving in a Central Maintenance Workshop of the biggest Power Generation setup of Pakistan for more than 28 years and remained involve in the major repairs of Rotors of Turbines, Generator, motors, blowers, fans, pumps and rotors of associated auxiliaries.

During these years he himself performed the in shop and on-site balancing of hundreds of rotors for different organizations all over Pakistan. Finally he served as a Plant Manager and then Chief Engineer of a 1700MW Thermal Power Complex of Gas and Steam Turbines.

Our Vibration Analyst / Balancing Engineer is qualified and has got trainings from Germany and China. Has 30 years versatile experience of performing on site Vibration Analysis and Balancing of rotors of heavy duty and high speed Rotary Machines, installed in Power Plants, Chemical, Sugar and other Processing Industries, all over Pakistan, including rotors of Turbines, Generators, Motors, Impellers, and Blowers etc.

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS? Our Expertise.

Our Balancing Engineers has more than 30 years versatile experience of performing On-site vibration Analysis and Dynamic Balancing of heavy duty and high Speed rotary machines, and Alhamdolillah Our experts usually achieve the target of minimum vibration level as per International standards within one or two runs of machine by our time tested method and save un-necessary expensive procedural runs of your machines and save your money.

METHODOLOGY OF OUR WORKING

In order to save extra expensive runs of Unbalance Machine, we make use of our time tested experience and do not follow generally adopted procedure of Balancing. Our Balancing Engineers perform balancing in the light of latest research and 30 years practical balancing experience of big high speed Power Turbines / Generators and associated equipment.

TOOLS USED BY OUR EXPERTS FOR VIBRATION ANALYSIS BEFORE BALANCING

1. Overall Vibration levels Analysis
2. Vibration FFT Spectrum Analysis
3. Time Waveform Analysis
4. Shaft Circular Motion Analysis
5. Coast Down Analysis
6. Order Tracking Analysis
7. Cross Phase Analysis
8. Rotor and Structural Resonance Analysis

  •  210 MW, Generator Rotor of Electric Power Turbine, speed 3000 rpm, length 9.5m and weight 45 Tons.
  • 125 MW, Generator Rotor GE USA Steam Turbine, having speed 3000 rpm, length 7m, weight 32 Tons.
  • 35 MW Generator Rotor Hitachi Japan Gas Turbine, speed 3000 rpm, length 5m, weight 12 Tons.
  • 25 MW, 11KV Generator Rotor, speed 3000 rpm, length 4m and weight 18 Tons.
  • 24 MW, 11KV Generator Rotor of a Coal Fired Steam Power Plant.
  • 11000 rpm, light weight 550 kg, LP Gas Turbine Rotor at Natural Gas Compression Station.
  • 12000 rpm, HP Gas Turbine rotor operating at Natural Gas Compression Station.
  • NGC Motor Rotor of weight 8500 kg driving a Natural Gas Compressor of a Gas Turbine Power Plant.
  • Balancing of several Steam Turbines and Generators Rotors ranging from 210 MW to 1 MW of different Organizations.

In addition to above mentioned jobs Vibration Analysis and Onsite Dynamic Balancing of dozens of rotors of Electric Motors, Generators, Centrifuges, Cane Cutters, Febrizers, Ventilators, Fans, Blowers, ID, FD and GRC Fans of Power Plant and Process Industries have been performed.
